The Lake Fuschl holiday region is located in the Salzkammergut resort area in the picturesque SalzburgerLand. Lake Fuschl is one of 76 lakes in the Salzkammergut resort area. This region is noted for its crystal-clear swimming lakes, impressive mountains, and sunny Alpine pastures. It consists of seven municipalities: Fuschl am See, Ebenau, Faistenau, Hintersee, Hof bei Salzburg and Koppl.

Lake Fuschl and Lake Hinter invite you to swim and enjoy numerous water sports in their pristine waters. One highlight is the Zillenschifffahrt boat ride.
The Alpine pasture region of Faistenau-Hintersee offers amazing views along its 150 kilometres of hiking and pasture trails.

In the winter, this region is particularly popular among cross-country skiing enthusiasts because of its cross-country skiing village, Faistenau.
